Hosting a Toy Party FAQ



 

 

How will I know how much money I am saving at a toy party?

The retail price (RT) will be posted in each catalog along with our sale price (SP). The difference is the amount of money you are saving.

 

Will I be able to see what I am ordering?

Some sales samples will be available to understand the type of merchandise being purchased. Unfortunately, due to the volume of products offered, not everything will be represented.

 

What sorts of hand-made crafts are available?

We will have samples of baby quilts with a child's image, quilted diaper bags, quilts made from your child's recycled clothing, clutch balls, toddler pillows, bibs, changing pads, and nap-packs.

 

Are any toys available to purchase and take home from the party?

                        Yes, most of the samples may be purchased at the party.

 

What form of payments do you accept?

At the conclusion of the toy party we will collect cash and checks.

 

When will you cash the checks?

                        Checks will only be cashed once your toy order has been filled.
            
          Do I need to pay tax?

If your toy party is within the state of Connecticut, you will need to pay 

CT sales tax of 6%. All others outside of the state do not need to pay any sales tax.

 

How long before my toys will arrive?

                         Your toys should arrive on average 2-4 weeks following the toy party.

 

What do I receive for hosting a toy party?

As a host for one of our official toy parties you will receive a complimentary bottle of wine and a cocktail. You will also receive an additional 10% off the already reduced price of 30% off your toy order, and for every $500 in sales orders, you will receive 1 toy with a retail value of $20.

 

            Will someone from Baby Cole Enterprise be at the party?

Yes! We will be onsite to help facilitate a great toy party. We will bring with us catalogs, samples, order forms, and all other supplies. We can answer any questions, help

guests fill out order forms, give recommendations, and collect all the money at the end of the party. 

 

How many hours do toy parties last?

                        You should generally schedule about 3 hours for the toy party.

 

How should I invite people to my party?

                        You can invite people in any manner you choose: Evite, mailing list, e-mail, text

messages, or even formal paper invitations. We will provide you

with a generic e-mail body explaining the purpose of the party along with the the toy companies featured

           

How many people do I need to invite?

You can invite as many people as you are comfortable hosting. The more people you invite, the better your chances of receiving free toys. We do require at least 5 people including the host.

 

Do I have to deliver toys myself?

                        No. We will deliver all of the toys to your home pre-sorted by customer. Simply tell     

                        your guests that their toy orders are complete and ready for pick up at your home.

 

Can you ship to other locations?

We can ship to any other locations, and the shipping fee will be added to the order.

 

.           Can I only place an order at a registered toy party?

No, if you are invited to a toy party but cannot attend, you can place an order at any time before the party or up to 3 days after the party by e-mailing your order to jamyecole@babycoleent.com.  You can also order items that are currently in stock directly from our website: www.babycoleent.com at any time.
